The Origin of Looby

From Doodles to a Universe

Looby began as a simple father-and-son art project. When my son was five, he would fill the pages of my to-do book with wild doodles – abstract shapes, swirling lines, and quirky creatures straight from his imagination. Once he was done, I’d dive in, adding depth, shading, and backgrounds to bring his raw sketches to life. Sometimes his characters would inspire full scenes with groups of cartoon friends interacting together. What started as playful collaboration became the seed for a universe – the world of Looby.
